Intro

Even though several weeks had passed since the Eyes of the Goddess incident, and the Ceremony of Purification had gone on without complications, things had grown more unstable politically. The people of Acs’ Beluge, especially the queen’s advisers, were still against having so many outsiders coming to their city. However, they still needed the help of Pennute’s engineers, so there was no way to completely eliminate outsiders.

Yet the rulers of Pennute had grown greedy, and thus decided to use the situation to their advantage. They sent their ambassadors to the queen and her advisers, and struck up a deal; only outsiders who were employed or directly affiliated with Pennute would be allowed into Acs’ Beluge. Outsiders from the other kingdoms, however, would be barred from returning to the city.

As a result, tensions grew, and thus the three expedition teams each went their separate ways for the time being...

:iconpennutems:Pennute:iconpennutems:

Having received a tip from the Seer that there may still be another Fragment contained in the desert region of Acs, the Pennute expedition team departed for the only other known civilization in the desert; Acs’ Svante. However, upon arriving at the now-underground city, it was discovered that their leader had gone missing.

Given that the leader would be the only one in the city able to share information regarding the Fragment, the expedition team decided to search for him, especially given that helping Acs’ Svante out would likely result in earning their favor.

Task

Thus, the Pennute recruits must search through the network of caves in and around Acs’ Svante to find the city’s leader, while keeping clear of any potential dangers that may lurk in the caves, such as native creatures or natural obstacles. However, given that the caves are vast, you may need to find clues to help you narrow down the search. Clues can be found in places such as the Weekly Curiosities, Chatroom, etc.

:iconlahansims:La’Hansi:iconlahansims:

With the Order on the move once again, the La’Hansi expedition team took it upon themselves to try and catch up to them, rather than constantly being a few steps behind. Reports indicated that they were headed in the direction of the ruined city of Acs’ Ludi, and so the team traveled to the city to investigate. However, they found that the city was somehow bustling with activity, seemingly as a result of level 3 magic pollution.

The magic pollution made the city appear as it was in the past, but everyone and everything in it could be interacted with. However, the appearance of a strange Thearen woman disrupted the town’s activity, causing it to seem to malfunction. As a resulting consequence, however, the magic pollution trapped the team inside the city, and the only way out was to destroy the pollution’s core.

Task

The La’Hansi recruits must search the city of Acs’ Ludi to find and destroy the core sustaining the magic pollution. Even though the core may have subtle age differences, it can potentially take on any form, and destroying the wrong thing can have escalating consequences as a consequence of spatial disruption; consequences start out as minor inconveniences, such as being teleported, to more severe consequences such as being trapped, or even disappearing. In order to find the correct core, you may need to find clues. Clues can be found in places such as the Weekly Curiosities, Chatroom, etc.

:iconterhwams:Terhwa:iconterhwams:

With Pennute and La’Hansi’s teams having headed for the only other known cities in the desert, Terhwa’s expedition team was encouraged to continue to stay neutral, by being given orders to investigate the rather imposing structure in the distance; the Sword of the Evil One. It was supposed to have some connection to the Thear, so the team traveled far to the edge of the desert where the Sword was located.

However, it turned out that there were really were Thear at the Sword, and they were guarding it to prevent anyone from getting near it. One of the Thear was witnessed entering the Sword, meaning that there’s obviously more to it than meets the eye. As a result, despite the Thears’ insistence, the team needed to investigate the tower, as it clearly held more significance than was originally let on.

Task

The Terhwa recruits must find a way to get close enough to investigate the Sword of the Evil one without being caught by the Thear guards that patrol the area around it. Given the power of the Thear, trying to get past them by force would likely be a death wish. However, there may be some areas that are less guarded, or ways to avoid or bypass the Thear altogether. Given that information about Thear is scarce, you may have to look for clues. Clues can be found in places such as the Weekly Curiosities, Chatroom, etc.
