Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Kingdoms

In Memoria Somnium, you’ll join and serve under one of the Three Kingdoms based on their politics and beliefs. Each Kingdom will have a role and your course of action will trace the future of the world...A future the God of this world Himself has discarded.

Pennute has taken the role of settlers on the Expedition. With each new civilization found, it is this Kingdom that will take responsibility for the first contact, holding peaceful negotiations, to make sure friendly ties are established between them.

With their priority being the search of the Fragments and the Order, La'Hansi will venture forth into the unknown in search of new places while the other Kingdoms stay and handle negotiations. Pioneering and exploring is their task.

Terhwa's views are mostly neutral about the Expedition. They just want to study these discoveries and use the knowledge for their own Kingdom's sake. It's not unusual for them to be stuck in one place for long. Though because it is the most balanced one, they will often provide support.

◆ Keep in mind that these are just the politics and beliefs of the government within each kingdom; your character does not have to completely accept or follow the views of each kingdom. Just as is the case in real life, not every citizen strictly adheres to their nation’s political beliefs.
◆ In addition, just because the main focus of your kingdom is a certain thing, does not mean that your character has to specialize in it as well. Every kingdom has need of technology, magic, healing, strong fighters, and so on.
